Brazos Valley Pickleball Open: The Navasota Pickleball Association is thrilled to present the Brazos Valley Open Pickleball Scholarship Tournament on November 16-17, 2024. This exciting two-day event aims to raise funds for scholarships benefiting two graduating seniors from Navasota High School. Players of all levels are encouraged to participate in various doubles and singles events, ensuring competitive action throughout the weekend.

Event Schedule and Divisions
The pickleball tournament will feature Men’s and Women’s Doubles on Saturday morning, followed by Mixed Doubles on Sunday afternoon.
A Juniors Division will also take place, with Doubles on Saturday morning and Singles on Sunday afternoon, offering young players a chance to compete.

Tournament Format
All brackets will be structured as round robin play, guaranteeing plenty of matches for every team. The format varies based on the number of teams per bracket.
- 3-team brackets: Double Round Robin (4 matches, 1 game to 15, win by 2)
- 4-team brackets: Round Robin (3 matches, best 2/3 games to 11, win by 2)
- 5-team brackets: Round Robin (4 matches, 1 game to 15, win by 2)
- 6-7 team brackets: Round Robin (5-6 matches, 1 game to 15, win by 2)
Registration Details
- Fee: $30 for the first event, plus $10 for additional events.
- Brackets: The registration is only confirmed once when the player and their partner have paid, signed the waiver, and completed registration. Teams that fail to finalize registration may be moved to the waitlist if the event fills up.

The pickleball tournament will be held at the Navasota ISD Tennis/Pickleball Complex, featuring 16 outdoor courts equipped with portable nets.
In the event of bad weather, the tournament has the option to move indoors, ensuring the competition will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
