Kyle Keller Bio

Kyle Keller (born January 25, 2005) is an American professional stock car racing driver from Las Vegas, Nevada. He is best known for his work in the ARCA Menards Series West, where he competes in the No. 71 Ford for Jan’s Towing Racing as part of the Kennealy Keller Motorsports driver development program. Keller has built his early career on short tracks across the western United States and has steadily climbed the regional stock car ladder.

After several seasons of part-time and full-time competition in ARCA’s western division, Keller earned his first career ARCA West victory in 2025 at Tri-City Raceway. He has also made a one-off attempt at the NASCAR Xfinity Series and has competed in modified, late model, and weekly touring events.

Early Life and Background

Keller was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he grew up around short-track racing culture. He began his career on the bullrings and paved short tracks of the American Southwest, including the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring, which has served as a home track throughout his career.

Racing runs in the Keller family. He and his father, John Keller, operate a driver development program called Kyle Keller Driver Development, which has supported several young drivers on the West Coast. The program has helped Keller transition from a young local racer into a multi-series professional.

Path to NASCAR

Keller’s climb through the stock car ranks followed a traditional regional ladder. He cut his teeth in local late model events and the Lucas Oil Modified Series, then graduated to ARCA-sanctioned competition in the ARCA Menards Series West and the ARCA Menards Series. His steady results on short tracks and intermediate ovals earned him a shot at NASCAR national series competition in 2024.

On June 27, 2024, it was announced that Keller would attempt his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Watkins Glen International, driving the No. 13 for MBM Motorsports. Although he failed to qualify for the event, the attempt marked his first entry into a NASCAR national series and signaled his continued upward trajectory.

Kyle Keller Career

Early Career (2019–2021)

Keller’s first documented full season came in 2019, when he drove a full schedule in the Lucas Oil Modified Series for his family-owned team. He posted six top-ten finishes and placed fourth in the overall standings. That same year he entered the SRL 5th Annual Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway Park, finishing thirteenth.

In 2020, Keller signed with Jerry Pitts Racing for two ARCA Menards Series West starts, earning one top-five and two top-tens. He returned to Jerry Pitts Racing in 2021 for a single start at his home Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring, finishing fifth. He also raced in the SRL Southwest Tour, where he scored his first late model win at the Madera Speedway Short Track Shootout after starting from pole and leading the most laps.

ARCA Menards Series West Breakthrough (2022–2025)

On January 3, 2022, Keller announced he would run the full 2022 ARCA Menards Series West schedule for his own team, Kyle Keller Racing. After a 32nd-place finish at Phoenix and a withdrawal at Irwindale, he scaled back to a partial season. Running the No. 12 in a technical alliance with JPR, he earned four top-tens and three top-fives to finish eleventh in points.

In 2023, Keller returned to Jerry Pitts Racing for a full season and produced six top-tens and one top-five, finishing eighth in the standings. On September 2, 2023, he announced that he and fellow driver Robbie Kennealy would compete under the newly formed Kennealy Keller Motorsports driver development program in 2024. On October 5, 2024, Keller drove the No. 3 Central Coast Racing Toyota at All American Speedway before finishing the year in the No. 9 Jan’s Towing Racing Ford.

In 2025, Keller drove full-time for Jan’s Towing Racing in the No. 71 Ford alongside teammate Robbie Kennealy in the No. 9. On August 10, 2025, he scored his first career ARCA Menards Series West victory at Tri-City Raceway in the NAPA Auto Care 150, passing Jake Bollman on a late restart. He closed the season with a best career points finish of second in the ARCA West standings.

ARCA Menards Series Career (2022–2025)

Keller has made selected starts in the ARCA Menards Series alongside his West schedule. His first national ARCA start came in the 2022 General Tire 150 at Phoenix, and he has continued to enter selected national events through 2025, with his most recent ARCA start also coming at Phoenix in the 2025 General Tire 150. His best ARCA Menards Series points finish was 72nd in 2023.

Jan’s Towing Racing Era (2025–Present)

Keller’s move to Jan’s Towing Racing was confirmed late in 2024 when it was revealed he would compete full-time in the No. 71 Ford in 2025. The program runs in conjunction with Kennealy Keller Motorsports and the Kyle Keller Driver Development effort he shares with his father John. The team fields Fords and has quickly become the foundation of his professional career.

In his first full season with Jan’s Towing Racing, Keller broke through with his first career ARCA West win at Tri-City Raceway and produced his strongest points result to date. The combination of team stability, a consistent Ford program, and technical alliances has positioned Keller as a rising contender in the ARCA West garage.

Driving Style and Strengths

Keller’s strengths have shown on short tracks and bullrings, where his late-model background and comfort with close, aggressive racing translate into consistent top-ten runs. His first ARCA West win came after a calculated late-race restart, suggesting a driver comfortable managing tires, restarts, and traffic in tight battles.

Notable Races and Milestones

His first career ARCA Menards Series West victory at Tri-City Raceway in 2025 stands as his signature moment, along with his first SRL Southwest Tour late model win at Madera Speedway.
