HCG Hosts Inspiring Pickleball Tournament: In celebration of World Cancer Day, HCG, one of India’s largest cancer care networks, organized a Pickleball Tournament for cancer survivors and their families. The event embraced the global theme “United by Unique,” highlighting the strength, resilience, and individual journeys of cancer survivors while fostering unity through sport.
A Vibrant Community Comes Together
The tournament attracted over 250 participants, including cancer survivors, medical professionals, and attendees, uniting a vibrant community in the fight against cancer. The pickleball tournament featured doubles matches, with survivors competing alongside their families. Known for its accessibility and teamwork focus, pickleball promotes both physical health and emotional healing. In addition to the matches, wellness workshops were held to emphasize the benefits of staying active after treatment, along with relaxation zones to support mental health.
