Bennett University Pickleball PWR Championship: The Pickleball PWR Championship at Bennett University wasn’t just another pickleball tournament; it was a celebration of sheer passion and talent that defined the university’s pickleball scene. A day-long extravaganza filled with intense competition and electric energy, all thanks to the Sports Committee teaming up with the Pickleball World Rankings (PWR).

A Thrilling Showdown

On September 28, more than 200 spectators packed the stands, ready to witness a showdown like no other. With 80 players battling it out across four electrifying categories—Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles—there was no shortage of action.

The matches unfolded in a fast-paced ‘best of 11 rally points’ format that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, showcasing the skills, strategies, and sheer determination of these athletes.

Karan and Sanya Steal the Spotlight

In a highly competitive Men’s Singles category, Karan Singh stepped up and claimed victory, proving he has what it takes to dominate the court. His exceptional skill and determination were on full display, leaving his opponents scrambling to keep up. But he wasn’t alone in the spotlight.

Sanya Tyagi mirrored that excellence by clinching the top spot in the Women’s Singles category, solidifying her status as a force to be reckoned with.

Doubles Drama

Pickleball Fever at Bennett University

The buzz around the Bennett University Pickleball PWR Championship was noticeable. This was an event that transcended the typical tournament atmosphere; it was a community gathering where faculty members joined in on the fun, making it a truly inclusive experience. Over 80 players fought fiercely for the Men’s Singles title, while 30 did the same in Women’s Singles.

The Mixed Doubles featured 20 teams, and each of the Men’s and Women’s Doubles categories saw 16 pairs battling it out. Each match was a thrilling spectacle filled with fast-paced rallies and strategic plays that had spectators gasping and cheering throughout the day.

With 10 dedicated pickleball courts, Bennett University provided the perfect backdrop for this prestigious tournament. The winners didn’t just walk away with bragging rights; they were rewarded with medals and prizes that were a fitting tribute to their hard work and exceptional performances.
