Lawton’s United Way Tournament: On March 29, 2025, pickleball enthusiasts gathered at the Lawton Family YMCA for a tournament benefiting the United Way of Southwest Oklahoma. The event brought people of all ages together for a morning of friendly competition, fun, and community engagement.

The tournament marked the United Way’s first pickleball event, with plans to make it an annual tradition. Participants enjoyed a welcoming atmosphere filled with exciting matches and refreshments. The event served as both a fundraiser and an opportunity for community bonding.

United Way of Southwest Oklahoma President and CEO Mark Woommavovah highlighted the event’s impact.
