Recently, he has taken to the court at Pickle and Chill 614 in Columbus, Ohio, where his infectious enthusiasm lights up the scene. With his friend Andy Roddick by his side, Agassi is currently transforming his love for the game into a mission to grow the sport worldwide.

Agassi Shows Pickleball Skills in Ohio

Recently, Agassi showcased his pickleball abilities at Pickle and Chill 614 in Columbus, Ohio, one of the region’s premier pickleball hubs. A video shared by Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) captured Agassi teaming up with young players, inspiring them to continue pursuing the sport. This event took place last month, and Agassi’s enthusiasm was evident as he sweated it out on the court.

A Story of Learning

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Agassi reflected on his story in pickleball, noting he was initially unfamiliar with the rules when Roddick introduced him to the game. The two legends have since enjoyed playing together, with Roddick appreciating the daily interactions.

“What has been pretty fun is getting the daily analysis from Andre Agassi and his breakdowns of what he’s learned, what’s working for him, what we should do.” – (Roddick)

Expanding the Sport Globally

Agassi, an eight-time Grand Slam champion and Olympic gold medalist, is set to visit India for the first time in January to kick off the system PWR DUPR Indian Tour & League. This grand pickleball tour aims to bring the excitement of competitive pickleball to India, further expanding the sport’s reach.
