KDV Sport in Carrara

KDV Sport is located at 221 Nerang Broadbeach Road in Carrara. This modern sports facility has three high-quality pickleball courts with a lively atmosphere. Street art murals add character, and there’s a strong community vibe.

Courts are open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Court hire costs $18 per hour during the day and $22 per hour at night. Players can join social matches, book lessons, or practice in pairs.

The centre also hosts events every day of the week, making it a favorite for beginners and those who want to improve their skills.

Gold Coast Pickleball Community Centre

The Gold Coast Pickleball Community Centre runs across four locations: Currumbin, Pizzey Park, Runaway Bay, and Tallebudgera. Currumbin is the first dedicated pickleball club in the country and features eight well-kept courts open day and night. Runaway Bay also has four courts available.

The club provides beginner resources and hosts cash prize tournaments. It’s a strong and welcoming community for all skill levels.

Pure Tennis Centre in Runaway Bay

Located on Sports Drive in Runaway Bay, the Pure Tennis Centre offers eight pickleball courts. These courts are surrounded by trees and have a BBQ area for relaxing after games.

The centre provides lessons and hosts casual matches, making it a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy the sport in a relaxed setting.

Tallebudgera Leisure Centre

Tallebudgera Leisure Centre, at 1525 Gold Coast Highway in Palm Beach, is a weather-proof indoor venue with six large courts and helpful staff.

Pickleball sessions run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and on Monday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. After a morning game, players often visit Tallebudgera Creek for a swim or grab a snack at Custard Canteen.

Gold Coast Seniors Tennis Centre

At 1/24 Pizzey Drive in Mermaid Waters, the Gold Coast Seniors Tennis Centre features six pickleball courts, 13 tennis courts, and two hotshot courts.

The venue is located in popular Pizzey Park and has a busy clubhouse. It attracts players of all ages. After a match, many head to The Henchman café nearby for food and drinks.

Tamborine Pickleball Club

Tamborine Pickleball Club runs at the Vonda Youngman Community Centre on Knoll Road in Tamborine Mountain. Players can borrow gear, needing only sports shoes to play.

On Wednesdays, the club hosts social games at 8:30 a.m., intermediate games at 10:00 a.m., and competitive pairs from 5:00 p.m. Games also run on Thursdays and Saturdays. Players can use the TeamReach app with the code p1kl for the latest updates.

While visiting, players often stop at Franquette Bakery. As one visitor put it, “Pickleball with a side of flaky croissants? Yes please.”

Hope Island Resort Tennis Centre

Hope Island Resort Tennis Centre is located at 1 Activa Way in Hope Island. The centre has eight excellent courts and a range of top-class amenities.

It’s open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Courts can be booked online, and it’s recommended to reserve early, as the venue is quite popular.
