KLO Sports Acquires Hyderabad Superstars: KLO Sports has acquired the Hyderabad Superstars franchise for the World Pickleball League, set to begin on January 24th. The franchise is co-owned by Sanjay Jupudi and Srinath Chittoori, who are excited about the sport’s growth in India.

Leadership and Team Roster

The Hyderabad Superstars will be coached by Jonny Andrews, known as ‘Jonny Pickleball’. With experience in the sport since 2016, he will lead a talented team that includes Indian pickleball star Kuldip Mahajan.

Mahajan was part of the winning team at the recent WPC in Mumbai. He will be joined by international players such as Max Freeman, Ava Cavataio, Ross Whittaker, Madalina Grigoriu, Karolina Owczarek, Ben Cawston, and Ludovica Sciaky.

Gaurav Natekar, Co-Founder and CEO of the World Pickleball League, expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership.

The World Pickleball League will kick off on January 24th at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai. Teams from Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, and Hyderabad will participate, marking a significant step in the sport’s growth in India.
