On February 20, 2026, Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride revealed a new year-long collaboration with WKMG News 6, the CBS affiliate in Orlando owned by Graham Media Group. This partnership designates News 6 as the official local news partner for the 2026 season, aimed at providing expanded coverage and deeper insight for fans throughout Central Florida. The alliance highlights a shared goal of enhancing fan engagement and storytelling around both teams.
Strengthening Community Ties Through Media Collaboration

Autumn Jones, Vice President and General Manager of News 6, emphasized the unique value News 6 brings as the sole local station with trained Community Correspondents who live in the areas they report on, deepening the connection between the station and the Orlando community.
“We’re thrilled to expand our relationship with News 6 and bring even more access, storytelling and coverage to our supporters across Central Florida,” said Pedro Araujo, Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride Chief Marketing Officer.
“This partnership makes so much sense for the Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride and News 6 teams,” said News 6 Vice President and General Manager Autumn Jones.
Weekly Program Offering Behind-the-Scenes Access
Central to this partnership is the launch of Orlando Soccer Insider, a weekly 30-minute television program broadcast every Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on News 6. The show, hosted by Apple TV’s Evan Weston and former Orlando City SC goalkeeper Miguel Gallardo, originates from the Club’s media studios at Orlando Health Training Grounds located in Osceola Heritage Park and Sylvan Lake Park. It will feature exclusive interviews, special features, and in-depth storytelling related to Orlando City, Orlando Pride, Orlando City B, and the Orlando City Academy.
Expanded Game Coverage and Digital Content
In addition to the weekly program, select Orlando City matches will be rebroadcast on News 6, offering fans more chances to watch the team’s performances. News 6 will also integrate Club content into its live broadcasts, including in-game weather updates and post-match segments designed to recap key moments as fans drive home. Furthermore, a new weekly digital series called From the Training Ground will be streamed across News 6’s digital platforms, delivering timely team updates and storylines throughout the season.
Broad Access Across Multiple Platforms
Supporters are encouraged to follow News 6 via ClickOrlando.com, streaming services, and traditional broadcasts to not miss any exclusive content or behind-the-scenes coverage during the 2026 season. This partnership stands to deepen fan engagement by offering comprehensive access to club activities and unmatched local reporting focused on Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride.
