Derrick Henry Welcomes Third Daughter, Declares Himself Girl Dad

During a recent interview with Michael Nied of People, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry shared that he and his girlfriend, Adrianna Rivas, have welcomed a new baby girl, marking his third consecutive daughter. Although he did not reveal the newborn’s name, Henry proudly expressed his new identity as a “girl dad.”

His Growing Family and Their Sports Interests

Henry is already a father to five-year-old Valentina and one-year-old Celine. He noted the growing athleticism in his older daughter’s life, saying,

“My five-year-old, she’s playing basketball now and soccer,”

and added,

“So just watching her and watching that competitive spirit grow. Then my one-year-old, who will be two in April, [is] watching her big sister and can’t wait for her time to go play sports.”

This suggests that the family’s love for sports is being passed down through the generations.

Sports Legacy and Expectations for the Future

As a five-time Pro Bowler and the 2020 Offensive Player of the Year, Henry has established himself as one of the top running backs in the NFL, with seven seasons surpassing 1,000 rushing yards and eight seasons featuring double-digit touchdown runs. He led the league in rushing yards in 2019 and 2020 and posted an impressive 2025 season with 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns, despite the Ravens missing the playoffs.

Looking Ahead: Balancing Fatherhood and Football

Henry is set to continue his crucial role in the Ravens’ offense under new head coach Jesse Minter next season. However, he expects the offseason to be focused on his expanding family responsibilities. With three daughters at home developing their competitive spirits, Derrick Henry’s life off the field looks to be as active and fulfilling as his career on it.
