Cooper DeJean Responds to Nikki Bella Romance Rumors

Cooper DeJean and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella have been the focus of dating rumors since December, following Bella’s social media post featuring the cornerback’s locker room. Tensions rose during a recent Monday Night RAW episode when Nikki’s sister, Brie Bella, teased her by mentioning that fans were chanting “Coop.” While Nikki, who was previously engaged to wrestler John Cena, did not confirm or deny the rumors, she responded playfully to the chatter.

“Can you blame a girl for having good taste? I mean, Pro-Bo, baby,” Nikki Bella said.

On Wednesday, Cooper DeJean appeared on the Up & Adams show to comment on the relationship talks and Nikki’s Monday Night RAW remarks. He maintained a reserved tone regarding the speculation while praising Nikki’s accomplishments.

“I don’t now about that. She’s a good friend,” DeJean stated. “She’s saying she got good taste? She could be talking about anybody. … She’s amazing at what she does. She’s been doing it for a long time.”

Despite the widespread gossip, neither DeJean nor Bella has formally confirmed any romantic involvement.

Overview of DeJean’s Recent Season and Performance

Cooper DeJean completed his second season with the Philadelphia Eagles, boasting impressive stats including 93 total tackles, two interceptions, and four tackles for loss throughout the regular season. The Eagles reached the playoffs again after their Super Bowl LIX victory, but their pursuit of consecutive Lombardi trophies ended in a wild-card loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

DeJean Reflects on Pro Bowl Honor and Super Bowl Aspirations

Although DeJean earned a Pro Bowl selection this year, his focus remains on team success rather than individual accolades. Speaking with Kay Adams, the cornerback expressed his willingness to forgo personal honors for another Super Bowl appearance.

“I’d probably give up my All-Pro to be in the Super Bowl,” he said. “But, it’s been a crazy year, like you said. Lot of ups and downs. Lot of talk. We play in Philly, so that’s nothing new. Obviously, you want to be playing in the Super Bowl.”

“But we got two good teams on Sunday. Hopefully it’s a good game. … When we’re not playing in the Super Bowl, everybody’s got things to say, and that’s okay. The Philly fans are passionate.”

DeJean’s comments highlight the pressure and expectations that come with playing in Philadelphia, as well as his determination to help the Eagles reach the biggest stage.

Potential Impact on Philadelphia Eagles and Future Prospects

As the Eagles prepare for the upcoming NFL season, anticipation grows around the team’s ability to return to the Super Bowl. DeJean’s strong performance as a Pro Bowl cornerback will be crucial for their defense. While the rumors linking him to Nikki Bella continue to capture public interest, his focus remains on football and aiming for championship success in the next season.
