The Michigan Wolverines will be prominently featured at the 2026 NFL Combine, held in Indianapolis, with eight of their players invited to participate in the scouting and evaluation event. This strong presence highlights the Wolverines’ continued impact on the NFL talent pipeline as they prepare for the upcoming draft.
The players invited include fullback Max Bredeson, wide receiver Donaven McCulley, tight end Marlin Klein, edge rushers Derrick Moore and Jaishawn Barham, defensive tackle Rayshaun Benny, linebacker Jimmy Rolder, and kicker Dominic Zvada. This group reflects a diverse range of skill positions contributing to the team’s success.
Historical Draft Success and Rankings of Key Wolverines
Michigan has an impressive streak with at least one player selected in the NFL Draft for 87 consecutive years, dating back to 1938, totaling 421 players drafted. The 2026 class is expected to continue this tradition, with Derrick Moore notably ranked 60th overall on Pro Football Focus’ Big Board for prospects.
Additional Wolverines recognized by Pro Football Focus include Jaishawn Barham at 105th, Marlin Klein at 114th, defensive end TJ Guy at 209th, Rayshaun Benny at 232nd, and kicker Dominic Zvada at 408th. Among kickers, Zvada ranks third behind BYU’s Will Ferrin and Iowa’s Drew Stevens, who are just ahead at 406th and 407th respectively.
Recent Draft Highlights and Upcoming Events
Last year, Michigan saw seven of its players selected in the NFL Draft, including a trio of first-round picks: defensive tackles Mason Graham (Cleveland Browns) and Kenneth Grant (Miami Dolphins), and tight end Colston Loveland (Chicago Bears). This followed the school’s record-setting 13 picks in the 2024 draft, achieved after their College Football Playoff National Championship campaign in 2023.
The 2026 NFL Combine is scheduled from February 23 to March 2 at the Indianapolis Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. The NFL Draft itself will take place April 23-25 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Michigan is also expected to host its annual Pro Day in March, continuing to provide its players with opportunities to impress NFL scouts and executives.
