He is set to earn the league minimum salary of $1.005 million for a second-year player.

Evaluating Bazelak’s Role as Potential Backup to Mayfield
Connor Bazelak delivered a solid preseason performance with the Buccaneers, with room to improve during another training camp. Despite his development, the team is expected to pursue a more experienced quarterback to serve as Baker Mayfield’s primary backup, particularly to avoid challenges seen in the previous season.
Last year, Bazelak served as a third-string quarterback alongside Teddy Bridgewater, whose limited late-season appearance against the Los Angeles Rams did not meet expectations.
