According to DeVito’s agent Sean Stellato, the 27-year-old has agreed to a deal worth $7.4 million, including $2 million guaranteed. This contract follows his initial arrival to the Patriots in 2025 on a one-year deal after being claimed off waivers. DeVito, originally from New Jersey, gained attention during his 2023 tenure with the New York Giants.
Despite not being retained by the Giants, he made a significant preseason impact by completing 17 of 20 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-10 victory over the Patriots, earning the nickname “Tommy Cutlets.” Days later, after the Giants moved on, he joined New England’s roster, where he now continues as a backup quarterback.
