Additionally, he contributed on special teams with 14 kick returns for 202 yards and recorded a solo tackle.

McBride’s collegiate football journey began at Kansas, where he spent three seasons from 2020 to 2022. During his time with the Jayhawks, he appeared in 24 games, making 21 catches for 128 yards and adding two carries for seven yards. In 2023, McBride transferred to Hawaii, delivering a standout season with 63 receptions, 1,024 yards, and nine touchdowns. He also returned 12 punts for 68 yards while playing 13 games with the Rainbow Warriors.
