Hillcrest Winter Classic 2025: The Hillcrest Winter Classic pickleball tournament will take place on January 18, 2025, at Bousquet Sport, providing a fun-filled day of competitive play while raising funds for the Hillcrest Educational Foundation. The event will support children, adolescents, and families in Berkshire County and the Northeast, offering crucial services to those with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and high-risk behaviors.

This pickleball tournament is set to start at 8:00 AM with the Senior Coed Doubles 3.5+ division, followed by multiple coed divisions throughout the day. This pickleball event will conclude in the evening with the Coed 4.0+ division from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The round-robin format, leading to playoffs, ensures plenty of action for every competitor. The Hillcrest Winter Classic promises an exciting experience for players of all skill levels while making a positive impact on the community.

Tournament Structure and Schedule

The day will kick off with the Senior Coed Doubles 3.5+ division, where players aged 60 and older will compete at 8:00 AM. The next events will focus on emerging and intermediate players, with divisions for Coed 2.0 to 3.0 and Coed 3.0 beginning at 11:15 AM. The competitive Coed 3.5 to 4.0 division will take place at 2:30 PM, followed by the Coed 4.0+ division at 6:00 PM.

All divisions will follow a round-robin format, with each division ultimately leading to playoffs, ensuring multiple games and plenty of playtime. Participants can expect to receive a Yeti water bottle and enjoy refreshments throughout the day.

Registration and Cost

Registration for the event is open until January 15, 2025. The entry fee is $70. Participants are encouraged to register early as space is limited. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after the registration closes.

Prize Money

Prize money will be awarded to the top finishers in each division. The Coed 4.0+ division will have a first-place cash prize of $500 and second place will earn $250. Other divisions, such as Senior Coed Doubles 3.5+, Coed 3.0, and Coed 2.0 to 3.0, will feature gift card prizes worth $100 for first-place winners.
