The facility, located on Red Brangus Road, will offer day and night play, elevated viewing decks, and glow-in-the-dark pickleball under black lights.
A Pickleball Venue with a View
Situated on a ridge overlooking a cove of the Pedernales River, Panoramic Pickleball Academy is designed to provide a top-tier playing experience and breathtaking scenery. The courts are surrounded by elevated decks, giving visitors a chance to watch matches while enjoying panoramic views of the Hill Country.
The facility features:
- Two outdoor courts with LED lighting for day and night play.
- Black light functionality for glow-in-the-dark pickleball.
- On-site amenities, including restrooms, a conference room, and utilities.
Membership and Events
Courts are available for open play by reservation only, ensuring no wait times for courts or paddles. The academy will also host a variety of public events, including:
- Clinics and training sessions.
- Leagues and tournaments.
- Private and group lessons.
The venue is owned by Cindy and Dick Hollenbeck, who have lived in the area since 1998. Dick Hollenbeck, a certified Professional Pickleball Registry instructor, will lead coaching and training sessions at the academy.
Final Construction Touches Before Opening
Although the site is still under construction, play will be allowed while work continues. The lighting system, featuring eight powerful LED fixtures, was recently installed with support wires to ensure stability in windy conditions.
