The 2025 Washington State Senior Games Pickleball Tournament will be held from August 7 to August 10 at Rainier Vista Park in Lacey, Washington. The event will feature players 50 years and older, with competitions in three skill categories: Recreational, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Tournament Format and Registration
This pickleball tournament will be divided into skill categories, with each category further broken down into age groups every five years. The event will follow a round-robin format, with playoffs for gold, silver, and bronze medals. Events will include Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Men’s and Women’s Singles.
Registration opens on March 15, 2025, and closes on July 29, 2025. Early registration costs $55, with an increase to $65 starting June 1. Late registrations after July 29 will be priced at $80. Players who provide their USSP membership number during registration will receive a $10 refund.
Important Details on Ratings
Participants will be asked to self-rate their skill level, with DUPR serving as a guideline. Players may only play up to 0.5 levels above their self-rated skill. If a player is suspected of playing above their skill, the tournament director will review tournament history and ratings to make necessary adjustments.
Event Schedule

- Friday, August 8: Mixed Doubles
- Saturday, August 9: Men’s Doubles
- Sunday, August 10: Men’s Singles & Women’s Singles
Each event will follow a round-robin format with matches played to 15 points. The top four teams from each event will proceed to the playoffs.
Refund and Other Information
The tournament has a $20 admin fee for withdrawals, with no refunds after July 29. In the event of weather-related cancellations, up to a 50% refund will be provided. There will be no overnight parking at the venue, and parking is free for all participants.
The USSP will award prizes based on a points system, though no cash prizes will be given. Prizes in previous years have been worth up to $20,000, awarded to top finishers in each age group.
