Pickle Juice Indoor Pickleball Club has officially opened its doors in Blackwood, New Jersey. Located on the Black Horse Pike next to Sam’s Bar and Grill and near the Gloucester Outlets, the new facility provides players with a climate-controlled space to enjoy pickleball year-round.
The club features four Pro-Cushion® courts designed for an optimal playing experience. In addition to the courts, Pickle Juice offers a Juice Bar that serves fresh, healthy beverages. The facility is currently in its soft opening phase, with fully operational courts and an ongoing setup of additional amenities.
Free Play and Membership Options
During the soft opening, Pickle Juice is offering free play from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, allowing players to try out the courts and get a feel for the facility. Beyond open play, the club provides various membership options, including benefits such as court reservations, league entries, and exclusive perks for regular players.
Players can manage memberships and book play sessions through the Pickle Juice mobile app. The club’s staff is also preparing to finalize a Pro Shop and introduce comfortable seating areas for visitors to relax before and after matches.

The excitement surrounding Pickle Juice’s Blackwood location is already leading to expansion plans. The owners are working on adding two more courts to accommodate growing demand.
Lisa, the principal owner of Pickle Juice, has deep roots in the pickleball community. She first discovered the sport nearly a decade ago and has been an avid player ever since. Her passion for the game inspired the name “Pickle Juice,” a reference to her long-standing tradition of telling her family she was “off to play pickle and grab a juice.”
Lisa and her partners first launched Pickle Juice in Ventnor Heights/Margate, where its popularity exceeded expectations. Now, she is eager to bring the same experience to Blackwood and foster a welcoming environment for local players.
A Destination for Pickleball Enthusiasts
The location’s proximity to Sam’s Bar and Grill is expected to make it a social hub for players. Pickleball is as much about community and camaraderie as it is about the sport itself, and Pickle Juice aims to provide an engaging atmosphere for players of all skill levels.
The club’s front entrance opens to four courts arranged in a series, with ample space around the perimeter for movement and interaction. The membership desk and Juice Bar are located on the left side of the facility, with final touches being added to the Pro Shop in the coming days.
For newcomers to pickleball, Pickle Juice offers introductory classes to help players learn the game quickly. Lisa expressed confidence that after just a couple of sessions, players will be hooked on the sport.
Membership options range from budget-friendly monthly plans with limited play sessions to VIP memberships that include unlimited open play. Lisa emphasized that player feedback has shaped membership offerings, ensuring a flexible and enjoyable experience for all.
