City leaders see the new pickleball complex as a way to promote Flowood’s development. The facility is expected to attract more residents, businesses, and restaurants. “We’ll see a lot of growth, not only in the recreation aspect, but hopefully we’ll have more people moving to Flowood,” said Daniel Lang, director of Economic Development.
Expanding Opportunities in Flowood
Lang highlighted the economic benefits, noting that businesses are already preparing for increased activity. “We have a few that have seen this growth, and they’re preparing for it, and they want to be employed. Now, it’s just opportunity of finding them a place to, to locate,” he said. Officials anticipate further expansion in the city.
