RevSports Pickleball: Young athletes in Inver Grove Heights will have a chance to sharpen their pickleball skills this summer through the RevSports Pickleball: SkillStars program. Designed for children ages 9 to 12, the program runs from July 14 to August 4 at the Veterans Memorial Community Center. Participants will learn key fundamentals in a structured yet fun environment.
This pickleball program will take place on Mondays from 6:15 p.m. to 6:55 p.m. at the National Guard Gym within the community center. Sessions will focus on progressive skill development, covering forehand, backhand, volleys, shot preparation, and court coverage. Organizers will provide all necessary equipment, including paddles, balls, and nets, though participants are encouraged to bring their own paddles.
A Fun and Engaging Learning Experience
The program is structured to ensure that each session builds upon the previous one, allowing young players to gradually enhance their techniques. Athletic footwear is recommended, while crocs, boots, or sandals are not permitted for safety reasons.
Families who register will receive an email with additional details one week before the program begins. No special equipment is required beyond standard athletic gear.
