The Bristol Pickleball Club of Rhode Island is set to host its Spring 2025 Tournament on May 17-18, 2025, at their courts located at 318 Wood St., Bristol, RI. This exclusive event is open only to club members who have played at least five times in the past year. Registration opens on April 10, 2025, and the cost is $20 per player.
Tournament Details
The two-day tournament will feature separate divisions for women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The women’s doubles will take place on Saturday at 9:00 AM, followed by the men’s doubles at 1:00 PM. On Sunday, mixed doubles will begin at 9:00 AM.
The tournament will be divided into three skill levels: 2.9 and under, 3.0 to 3.4, and 3.5 and above. Players will be categorized by the skill level of the higher-ranked teammate. Participants will also compete in one of two age groups: 59 and under or 60 and over, based on their age at the end of 2025.
Registration and Costs
Players can sign up for one event for $20 or enter a second event for an additional $10, plus a $5 service fee per event. The registration period closes on May 14, 2025. The tournament will have a maximum of 8 teams per category, with a minimum of 4 teams required to run each event.
Open to Members Only
This event is specifically for members of the Bristol Pickleball Club who meet the participation requirement of playing at least five times between April 1, 2024, and April 1, 2025.
The tournament is designed to encourage friendly competition among club members, providing an accessible environment for those new to tournament play.
Additional Information
In case of bad weather, the tournament will be rescheduled to May 24-25, 2025. Parking at the venue is free, and participants are encouraged to secure their partners early before registration opens.
