Vancouver’s Most Heartfelt Pickleball Event Returns with Prizes, Action, and a Mission

The 2025 St. Baldrick’s Pickleball Tournament, hosted by Pickleball Is Great (PIG), will take place from July 18 to July 20 at Evergreen High School Tennis Courts in Vancouver, Washington. The event raises money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Players can register starting April 15, with early registration priced at $45. Entry increases to $60 after June 1. Registration closes on July 9.

Fundraiser Aims to Support Childhood Cancer Research

This annual pickleball tournament is more than a competition—it’s a fundraiser. All proceeds help the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, an organization focused on funding childhood cancer research.

Participants are encouraged to donate during registration. Players will also receive a swag bag with items like a free haircut, fitness coaching, and a Columbia Outlet Store pass.

Event Schedule and Format Details

The three-day outdoor tournament uses a round-robin format, with playoffs for gold, silver, and bronze medals.

  • Friday: Women’s Doubles and Men’s Skinny Singles

  • Saturday: Mixed Doubles

  • Sunday: Men’s Doubles and Women’s Skinny Singles

Age groups will be assigned after registration ends. The tournament aims to create brackets for under 50, 50–59, and 60+ players.

Players are guaranteed at least three matches. Most games will go to 15 points and must be won by 2. Brackets with 7 or 8 teams may play games to 11. The top four teams move on to medal matches.

Ratings and Registration Guidelines

Though DUPR is listed for public view, players will self-rate. Participants can only register for skill levels up to 0.5 above their current rating.

Youth players (17 and under) may use the discount code Youth20 at checkout to save $20.

Venue and Entry Information

The tournament will be held at Evergreen High School Tennis Courts, located at 14300 NE 18th St, Vancouver, WA 98664. There is no parking fee, but overnight parking is not allowed. The games will be played on a tennis surface.

Early registration ends May 31, with a $15 fee for each event added. After that, standard registration applies through July 9. If an event is canceled due to bad weather or other acts of God, players may receive up to a 50% refund. All other refunds will include a $10 fee.

A Fun Way to Support a Serious Cause

The tournament offers a great way for the pickleball community to come together for a cause that matters. With swag, prizes, and a minimum of three matches, players get more than just competition. As this event continues to grow, it also helps shine a light on the fight against childhood cancer—one match at a time.
