Louisville’s Downtown Transforms for Epic Pickleball Street Fest—Food, Music, and Celebrity Matches Await

The second Downtown Pickleball Street Fest will take place on Saturday, July 12, in downtown Louisville. Organized by the Louisville Downtown Partnership and Goodbounce Pickleball Yard, the event brings together the sport of pickleball and the city’s downtown culture for a day of fun, food, and play.

A Full Day of Pickleball and Fun

This year’s event will transform East Main Street—between South Jackson Street and Hancock Street—into an outdoor pickleball venue. Twelve courts will be set up for both open play and competitive tournament matches.

The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m. Players can sign up for beginner or intermediate brackets. Categories include women’s, men’s, and mixed teams.

Along with pickleball, there will be live music from DJ Ace and food trucks offering local favorites. A pop-up bar will serve local craft beer from Ten20 Craft Brewery and specialty drinks from Angel’s Envy.

Games, Cocktails, and Entertainment

From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy yard games and Angel’s Envy Peach Smash cocktails inside the distillery. There will also be celebrity exhibition matches during the event.

The festival aims to celebrate both pickleball and the Louisville community in a lively, welcoming environment.

Pickleball Boosts Local Spirit

The Downtown Pickleball Street Fest is part of a growing movement that blends sports and social life in urban areas. It brings people of all skill levels together and highlights how pickleball continues to grow across the country.

By turning downtown into a playful and active space, the event offers a fun way for residents and visitors to connect and enjoy Louisville’s local scene.
