Gaslamp Urban Pickleball Downtown Event: Gaslamp Urban Pickleball is coming to the streets of San Diego starting August 21, 2025. Every Thursday until September 25, 2025, 5th Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter will turn into an open-air pickleball court. The event begins at 4:00 p.m. each week and costs $25 to play.
This event is the first of its kind in San Diego, offering a fun, city-style pickleball experience for both beginners and experienced players. Guests can pre-register online or walk up and sign in on the day of the event.
A New Kind of Pickleball Experience
Hosted by the Gaslamp Quarter Association, this urban pickleball court will sit right in the middle of downtown. The idea is to bring people together through sports, music, and food in a fun, welcoming setting.

All players are welcome to bring their own paddles and balls. However, a limited number of rental gear will also be available on site.
