Pickleball For A Cause event Mendham: The Mendham Recreation Department will hold “Pickleball For A Cause” next weekend at the Mt. Pleasant Courts, 40 Mt. Pleasant Road. The free lessons and play sessions on August 17 and 18 will help raise donations for the Chester/Mendham food pantry.
Event Details and Schedule
The first session runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on August 17, and the second from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 18. Michele Dabel of MD Pickleball will lead the lessons. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join and improve their game or simply play for fun.
How to Participate and Help
Though participation is free, attendees are asked to bring at least one non-perishable donation for the food pantry. Suggested items include canned fruit, pasta sauce, tomato products, BBQ sauce, salad dressing, laundry and dish detergents, crackers, oil, ketchup, mustard, coffee, drinks, paper towels, toothbrushes, and cookies.
