Showdown at the Dome: 2025 WSC Pickleball Tournament Promises Thrills, Medals, and Fierce Competition

2025 WSC Dominate the Dome Pickleball: The Woodinville Sports Club in Woodinville, Washington, will host the 2025 WSC Dominate the Dome by Pickleball Is Great from September 5 to September 7, 2025. Registration costs $80 and closes on August 28, 2025, at 11:45 p.m. PST.

Tournament Format

The event will feature round-robin play by skill and age, followed by playoffs awarding gold, silver, and bronze medals for skill levels 3.0 to 5.0. Final age brackets will be decided after registration ends, with an effort to create divisions for players under 50 and 50+.

Every participant is guaranteed at least three matches. The total number of games will depend on how many players register, and adjustments may be made for facility needs or unexpected changes.

Match Rules and Schedule

Matches will be played on up to eight indoor temporary pickleball courts using the Franklin X40 ball. All paddles must be approved by USA Pickleball. The event schedule is as follows:

  • Friday: Women’s Doubles

  • Saturday: Mixed Doubles

  • Sunday: Men’s Doubles

Round-robin games will usually be played to 15 points, win by 2. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, games will be played to 11. The top four teams in each group will advance to the playoffs. Bronze medal matches will be played to 15, and gold medal matches may be played as one game to 15 or best two out of three to 11, win by 2.

Player Ratings and Rules

Although the DUPR rating is listed publicly, it is only used as a guideline. Players will self-rate, but tournament directors may adjust ratings by reviewing past tournament history and other rating systems.

Players must update their self-rating before registering and may only play up by 0.5. If a player is suspected of competing outside their skill level, the director will review their history to decide if changes are needed.

Registration and Refunds

Payment is required to register. The base fee is $80 plus $15 per event. Players must ensure their partner registers within seven days, or they risk being placed on the waitlist.

The tournament may close early if the maximum number of players is reached. Refunds include a $15 minimum admin fee for withdrawals. No refunds will be given after registration closes. If weather cancels an event, players may receive up to a 50% refund. Software service fees are non-refundable.
