The Picklr Lands in Manahawkin: he Picklr, North America’s fastest-growing indoor pickleball franchise, is making its debut in New Jersey with a new location set to open in Manahawkin. The facility will take over the former Bed Bath & Beyond site in the Kohl’s Plaza Shopping Center at 205 Route 72 West.
Utah-based The Picklr has announced that Arete Sports Group (ASG), one of its largest franchisees, has signed a lease for this new venue. This Manahawkin location marks the beginning of a broader expansion plan, with ASG set to open more than 15 clubs within the next year across New Jersey and the Greater New York City area, including Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, and Rockland County.
State-of-the-Art Facility
The 22,500-square-foot club will feature seven professional-quality courts equipped with sound reduction baffle matrix systems and low-glare lighting. Additional amenities include a full pro shop, café, lounge, and locker rooms. The Picklr’s all-inclusive memberships offer unlimited open play, league play, and tournaments, along with four clinics and four guest passes per month, providing nationwide access to all clubs.
