Founded by three lifelong friends from Orange County’s sun-soaked beaches, RAD Pickleball is injecting the picklesphere with the same dynamic style and attitude that defines the action sports scene. “We grew up with the influence of legendary brands like Quiksilver, Volcom, RVCA, and many other iconic action sports brands. Their impact is woven into our DNA, showing how essential core brands are in shaping a sport’s culture and style,” said Evan Dorian, co-founder of RAD Pickleball.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, like many, these friends turned to pickleball for recreation. However, they found the existing paddles lacking in aesthetic appeal.

Julia Duggan Sbicca’s designs bring pastel and groovy vibes, while Steve Tipton’s Double Dip and Lucid Dream paddles add a psychedelic touch. Madsteez, a renowned graffiti artist, contributes dynamic, colorful graffiti styles to the collection.
Evan Dorian mentioned the uniqueness of the Madsteez Face Pro paddle, stating, “It’s truly one-of-a-kind and there’s nothing like it on the market. It’s built with T-700 raw carbon fiber and serves as a statement piece. You start playing with this, people are going to notice it. If you really want to stand out, that’s one I recommend.” He also expressed pride in The Beverly paddle, noting the significant effort involved in its creation, particularly with its custom grip color and custom color on the guardrail.
