The AOP Fall PickleBrawl: Kansas Courts Set for a Thrilling 3-Day Showdown

The AOP Fall PickleBrawl, a premier pickleball event, is set to take place from October 4-6, 2024, at the Genesis Health Clubs’ Merriam KCRC in Merriam, Kansas. The pickleball tournament promises a weekend of competitive play across various age groups and skill levels, drawing in players from around the region.

The three-day event kicks off on Friday, October 4, with the Juniors Doubles tournament, featuring two divisions: Ages 13 and Under, and Ages 14-18. Matches start at 4:30 p.m., providing a platform for young athletes to show their skills. Registration for juniors is priced at $45.

Saturday, October 5, brings the Gender Doubles competition, open to players aged 50 and above. With an early bird registration fee of $65—rising to $75 for late entries—games start bright and early at 8 a.m., highlighting spirited matches among seasoned competitors.

On Sunday, October 6, the tournament wraps up with the Mixed Doubles event, also beginning at 8 a.m., and following the same pricing structure as the Gender Doubles day. Players aged 50 and above are invited to join in a day of mixed-gender competition. Participants have the flexibility to compete in up to two events for a single entry fee, with a non-refundable $5 charge per event.
