New Pickleball Courts in Lancaster County: A new wave of excitement is sweeping through Lancaster County, thanks to the recent addition of dedicated pickleball courts. The freshly established pickleball facility at Overlook Park, located at 2240 Basset Drive in Manheim Township, boasts eight courts exclusively designed for the fast-growing sport. Since the soft launch on Saturday, September 7, players from across the township and neighboring locations have flocked to test out the new facilities. The initial enthusiasm was further enhanced with the installation process of lighting, allowing players to enjoy games well into the evening.
Upcoming Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Saturday, October 26, at noon, marking the official opening of the courts. The public is warmly invited to join in the celebration.

“Since the recent boom of participation in pickleball, Manheim Township residents have been requesting exclusive outdoor pickleball courts,” stated Matt Stopa, the Recreation Director for Manheim Township.
