Thank Goodness for Pickleball Tournament: The Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club is gearing up to host the 2024 Thank Goodness for Pickleball Tournament from November 8 to November 10, 2024. This exciting pickleball event will feature a round-robin format for skill levels ranging from 3.0 to 4.5+, with playoffs for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. Age brackets will be established after registration closes, aiming for divisions close to under 50, 50-59, and 60+.

Registration and Fees
To participate in this competitive tournament, players must register and pay the associated fees:
- Standard Registration: $65 + event fee (through October 31, 2024)
- Late Registration: $75 + event fee (starting November 1, 2024)
- Discount: WRAC members are eligible for a $10 discount code; players should check with their club if they haven’t received it.
In addition, partners must register within seven days of each other to avoid being moved to the waitlist.
Tournament Schedule
The tournament will follow a structured schedule over the weekend:
- Friday: Men’s and Women’s Singles (full court) with a 2:00 PM start time
- Saturday: Men’s and Women’s Doubles
- Sunday: Mixed Doubles
Tournament Format
Each pickleball event will be conducted in a round-robin format, with playoffs determining medal placements. All matches will adhere to the “win by 2” rule, with most round-robin matches played to 15 points, subject to adjustment based on player count. For events with seven or eight teams, matches will be played to 11 points. The top four teams from each division will progress to playoff rounds, with Gold matches allowing for the option of either best 2 of 3 to 11 (win by 2) or first to 15 points. The Bronze match will be played to 15 points.
The Tournament Director retains the authority to combine brackets as necessary to maintain competitive play. Additionally, the tournament may close registration at any time if daily participant limits are reached, even if some events appear to have openings.

The Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club boasts 16 indoor courts, offering a high-quality playing surface on tennis hardcourt. The facility will provide complimentary player hospitality throughout the weekend. Participants can look forward to the use of the Selkirk Pro S1 ball during matches.
