Pickle Bar’s Pickleball Tournament: The Pickle Bar is stepping up to aid families affected by Hurricane Helene, hosting a “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Pickleball Tournament dedicated to raising funds for those facing post-storm hardships. Scheduled as a community-centered event, this tournament pairs the love of pickleball with a mission to give back.
Combining Pickleball and Philanthropy
This pickleball event shows The Pickle Bar’s commitment to community service. With 100% of entry fees and 10% of food and beverage sales reserved for donation, the proceeds will support Samaritan’s Purse in its ongoing recovery efforts.
Additionally, The Pickle Bar is collaborating with the Summerville Fire Department to set up a donation center for essential supplies, including water, cleaning items, paper goods, diapers, baby formula, and toiletries.

Tournament Format and Divisions
The pickleball tournament will follow a round-robin format, welcoming players across several skill and age categories. Divisions include Beginners (all genders and ages) rated 2.0-2.5; Seniors (50+) with Men’s 3.5, Men’s 4.0, and Women’s 3.0-3.5 categories; Men’s (all ages) at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ levels; and Women’s (all ages) at 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+ levels.
