The event’s success was showed by the presence of influential figures like Bryan Clare, the club’s chairman, and Christine Neyndorff, regional director for Pickleball England. Also in attendance were Councillor Jim Brown, the Mayor of Stevenage, and representatives from The Herts Sports and Physical Activity Partnership.

Jones Explained- “It’s been so exciting to see an accessible, fun, sociable sport like pickleball expand in our district and beyond, as we see people of all ages and levels of fitness have a go.”

Stevenage Pickleball Club hosts bi-weekly social play sessions at the Leisure Centre, providing accessible opportunities for engagement. Sessions are scheduled on Mondays at 11:30 AM, Wednesdays at 9:30 AM, and Thursdays and Fridays at 3:30 PM, ensuring flexibility for participants across the district.
