Tournament Format and Schedule
The event will feature a round-robin format with teams playing each other once. The number of games may change depending on team registration numbers. The day’s schedule begins with check-in at 10 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony at 10:45 a.m. Play will start at 11 a.m.
Morning matches will be mixed doubles, and afternoon matches will be men’s and women’s doubles. Players will be notified of their match start times.
Scoring and Bracket Details
Games will be played straight to 11 points, with no overtime. In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by head-to-head results. The event results will count toward players’ DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), and scores will be automatically reported to the platform.
At the tournament director’s discretion, brackets may be combined based on the number of teams. Participants must be willing to compete in a different skill or age bracket if needed.
Venue and Facilities
The event will be held at Players Courtyard Pickleball Club, which features 13 spacious indoor courts with permanent nets and Sportmaster finishes. The climate-controlled facility provides ample space for relaxation and socializing between matches.
Contributions to the South Jersey Dream Center
The tournament’s proceeds will go to the South Jersey Dream Center, a non-profit organization focused on assisting families in need. All event fees are tax-deductible, and participants will receive a free giveaway from the center.
Refund and Substitution Policies
No refunds will be issued after March 15, 2025. However, players can substitute another participant of the same skill level and age group.
