PA Open Pickleball Tournament Set to Attract Top Talent from Across the Country

PA Open Pickleball Tournament: The PA Open, a Pickleball is Life Tournament, will take place from April 4 to 6, 2025, at Dill Dinkers in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. The event features a range of competitive pickleball matches, including Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, each held on different days of the weekend. Players can compete in various skill and age categories, with prize money available for Pro and Senior Pro brackets.

Tournament Details

The PA Open 2025 will be held at Dill Dinkers, a new indoor venue with 18 courts. The tournament schedule is as follows:

• April 4: Men’s and Women’s Singles
• April 5: Men’s and Women’s Doubles
• April 6: Mixed Doubles

Amateur brackets will cover skill levels from 2.5 to 4.5, with age divisions for players 9 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60+. Pro and Senior Pro brackets for 4.5+ skill levels will also be available, with prize money allocated based on participant registration.

Registration costs $65, which includes a tournament shirt, medals, and prizes for the top three finishers in each division. Amateur events are $20 each, while Pro and Senior Pro events are $60 each, with $40 of the fee going toward prize payouts.

Exciting Prize Money and Sponsorships

The Pro and Senior Pro brackets will offer prize money funded by participant fees, with payouts of 60% for first place, 25% for second place, and 15% for third place.

As an example, 20 singles players could result in a prize pool of $800, with the first-place finisher receiving $480. For doubles teams, a field of 24 teams could produce a prize pool of $1,920, with $1,152 going to the first-place team.

Event Features and Perks

This pickleball tournament will be live-streamed on YouTube, and there will be a well-stocked hospitality tent offering snacks, fruit, and water. Players can choose from a variety of shirt styles, including short-sleeve, racerback, muscle shirt, long-sleeve shirt, or quarter-zip. Medals and gifts from sponsors, including paddles and pickleball bags, will be awarded to the winners.

Refund and Registration Policies

Registration will remain open until March 4, 2025, with a refund policy in place until March 28, 2025, subject to processing fees. After that date, no refunds will be offered, and brackets may be combined if needed to ensure enough competition. The indoor venue ensures that weather will not affect the tournament, though refunds will not be provided for unforeseen circumstances such as floods or power outages.
