Atlanta Bouncers MLP Phoenix Victory: The Atlanta Bouncers picked up their third win of the 2025 Major League Pickleball season with a 3-1 victory over the SoCal Hard Eights on Saturday. The match was part of the Edward Jones MLP Phoenix event at the Arizona Athletic Grounds.
Atlanta secured the win before the Dreambreaker round by winning three of the four games in regulation play.
Strong Start from the Bouncers
The day opened with women’s doubles, where Vivian Glozman and Rachel Rettger gave Atlanta the early lead. They beat Irina Tereschenko and Judit Castillo 11-8. The Bouncers followed that with another win in men’s doubles. Todd Fought and Jaume Martinez Vich defeated Ryan Fu and Blaine Hovenier 11-8.
Mixed doubles continued the close battle. In a tight third game, Vivian Glozman and Jaume Martinez Vich fought hard to earn a 13-11 win over Ryan Fu and Judit Castillo. That gave Atlanta a 3-0 lead and sealed the match victory.

SoCal Hard Eights Show Late Fight
The SoCal Hard Eights avoided a full sweep in the second mixed doubles match. Blaine Hovenier and Irina Tereschenko beat Rachel Rettger and Todd Fought 11-6. That win gave SoCal their only point of the day.
The Dreambreaker round was not played, since Atlanta had already clinched the match with three wins.
