The Los Angeles Mad Drops took the early lead in women’s doubles. Catherine Parenteau and Jade Kawamoto beat Mya Bui and Milan Rane 11-5. But Miami responded quickly. In men’s doubles, Noe Khlif and Yuta Funemizu defeated Rafa Hewett and Hunter Johnson 11-7 to even the match.
Miami then pulled ahead in the first mixed doubles. Noe Khlif and Milan Rane squeezed out a 12-10 win over Rafa Hewett and Catherine Parenteau. The Mad Drops bounced back in the second mixed doubles as Hunter Johnson and Jade Kawamoto dominated Yuta Funemizu and Mya Bui 11-2.
