Back-and-Forth Doubles Play
The match began with the Chicago Slice taking an early lead. In women’s doubles, Callie Smith and Vivian Glozman beat Anna Bright and Kate Fahey 11-4.
The St. Louis Shock responded quickly. Hayden Patriquin and Gabriel Tardio won the men’s doubles match 11-6 against James Ignatowich and Max Freeman, tying the overall score at 1-1.

Chicago struck back in the first mixed doubles match. Max Freeman and Vivian Glozman defeated Kate Fahey and Gabriel Tardio 11-6.
But St. Louis tied the match again in the second mixed doubles game. Anna Bright and Hayden Patriquin played strong and beat James Ignatowich and Callie Smith 11-3. The match moved to a Dreambreaker round.
