Match Recap: A Close Fight on the Courts
The match began with women’s doubles. Columbus Sliders players Parris Todd and Lea Jansen took on Vivienne David and Victoria DiMuzio from the Atlanta Bouncers. Todd and Jansen won 11-7, giving the Sliders an early lead.
Next came the men’s doubles match, where Columbus teammates Andrei Daescu and CJ Klinger dominated Eric Roddy and Jaume Martinez Vich from Atlanta. The Sliders won that game 11-1, strengthening their lead.
Atlanta fought back during the mixed doubles matches. In the first mixed doubles game, Parris Todd and Andrei Daescu of Columbus lost to Jaume Martinez Vich and Vivienne David 10-12.
