A Dominant Start by Brooklyn in Doubles
The Brooklyn Pickleball Team began strong in the women’s doubles. Rachel Rohrabacher and Jackie Kawamoto outplayed Parris Todd and Lea Jansen with a commanding 11-4 win. This early victory gave Brooklyn the lead.
In the men’s doubles, AJ Koller and Riley Newman of Brooklyn faced CJ Klinger and Andrei Daescu. It was a close match, but Brooklyn edged out Columbus with a 12-10 win.

Mixed Doubles Sees a Shift
In the first mixed doubles match, Jackie Kawamoto and Riley Newman took on CJ Klinger and Lea Jansen. Brooklyn stayed strong and secured the game 11-8.

However, Columbus fought back in the second mixed doubles match. Parris Todd and Andrei Daescu dominated AJ Koller and Rachel Rohrabacher with an 11-1 victory. This brought Columbus back into the contest.
