Shining Performance from St. Louis Shock
The team of Anna Bright, Kate Fahey, Hayden Patriquin, and Gabriel Tardio led St. Louis Shock to victory. They won three of the four doubles matches, securing the overall team win before needing a Dreambreaker tiebreak.
In the women’s doubles, Anna Bright and Kate Fahey dominated with an 11-3 win over Jessie Irvine and Alex Walker. In the men’s doubles, Hayden Patriquin and Gabriel Tardio held strong against Jack Sock and Tyson McGuffin, winning 11-8.
The first mixed doubles match was a close one. Gabriel Tardio and Kate Fahey outlasted Tyson McGuffin and Jessie Irvine 15-13. The second mixed doubles match went to the Phoenix Flames. Hayden Patriquin and Anna Bright fell 7-11 to Tyson McGuffin and Jessie Irvine.
