Utah starts strong with early doubles wins
The Utah Black Diamonds took the lead by winning the first two matches. In women’s doubles, Allyce Jones and Etta Tuionetoa edged out Tina Pisnik and Kaitlyn Christian 12-10.
Then in men’s doubles, Connor Garnett and Tyler Loong controlled the pace to beat Eric Oncins and Wyatt Stone 11-6, giving Utah a 2-0 lead in the match.
Texas Ranchers mount a comeback
The Texas Ranchers fought back in mixed doubles. In the first mixed game, Tina Pisnik and Eric Oncins held off Connor Garnett and Allyce Jones 11-9.
