The first contest ended 3-1 in favor of the Las Vegas Night Owls. Brooke Buckner and Chao Yi Wang started strong with an 11-7 win in women’s doubles over Alix Truong and Angie Walker. James Delgado and Pablo Tellez followed with a commanding 11-1 win in men’s doubles against Darrian Young and Jonathan Truong.

The Bay Area Breakers answered back in the first mixed doubles, where Alix Truong and Jonathan Truong beat Brooke Buckner and Pablo Tellez 11-2. However, Las Vegas sealed the match when Chao Yi Wang and James Delgado defeated Angie Walker and Darrian Young 11-5 in the second mixed doubles. The Night Owls claimed the 3-1 overall victory without needing a DreamBreaker.
