MLP’s Top Women in Dreambreakers: As the Major League Pickleball (MLP) season progresses, over 2,600 Dreambreaker points have been recorded this year, showing the competitive spirit and skill level of the participants. Among the 122 players who have taken the court in MLP this year, 120 have engaged in at least one Dreambreaker point.
This analysis focuses on the top women in Dreambreakers at the Premier Level, specifically on the 84 players who have participated in 25 or more points, setting a threshold that ensures they’ve competed in at least two Dreambreakers.
Anna Leigh Waters: Unmatched Skill
Leading the pack is Anna Leigh Waters, who boasts a remarkable 73.81% success rate in her Dreambreaker points. With a total of 42 points played, she has secured 31 points for her team while allowing only 11 against.
Her outstanding performance is a significant reason the New Jersey 5s currently hold the top spot and remain undefeated in Dreambreakers. Waters’ consistency and ability to perform under pressure make her an invaluable asset to her team.

Jackie Kawamoto: Excelling in Team Dynamics
Jackie Kawamoto stands out with a success rate of 62.50%, having participated in 72 Dreambreaker points. She has contributed 45 points for her team while facing 27 against.
Often playing in the fourth position, Kawamoto strategically faces the opposing team’s weakest Dreambreaker player. This strategic positioning has greatly contributed to her strong win rate, making her a vital part of the New York Hustlers’ lineup.
Kate Fahey: Capitalizing on Opponent Weaknesses
Another noteworthy performer is Kate Fahey, who has achieved a success rate of 60.42% across 48 Dreambreaker points. She has recorded 29 points for her team and allowed 19 against.
Like Kawamoto, Fahey frequently plays in a strategic position, allowing her to capitalize on the opposition’s weaknesses. Her ability to maintain a solid win rate enhances the overall performance of the St. Louis Shock.
Catherine Parenteau: Recent Challenges
Catherine Parenteau rounds out the top five, achieving a success rate of 59.09% with a total of 44 Dreambreaker points played. She has secured 26 points for her team while conceding 18 against.
Although known for her impressive singles skills, Parenteau’s recent inactivity with the LA Mad Drops raises questions about her impact in upcoming events. As the final two MLP events approach, it will be interesting to see how her performance evolves and whether she can regain her competitive edge.
