Miami Pickleball Club Reaches Semis After Thrilling Match at MLP Dallas Playoffs

Miami Pickleball Club reaches semis: The Miami Pickleball Club secured a coveted spot in the semifinals of the Major League Pickleball (MLP) Dallas Playoffs, a victory that sends them to Orlando in pursuit of the Challenger-level crown. They will face off against formidable teams like the Chicago Slice and SoCal Hard Eights, looking to solidify their position in this competitive MLP league.

Miami Pickleball Club’s Path to Victory

The win came on the heels of a critical DreamBreaker win against the Frisco Pandas, marking their second victory of the day over the sixth-seeded team. The match highlighted the resilience and skill of the Miami Pickleball Club players, particularly Noe Khlif, who played a pivotal role in their advancement.

Noe Khlif achieved two vital wins that allowed the Miami Pickleball Club to force the DreamBreaker scenario. He teamed up with Eric Oncins in men’s doubles and paired with Bobbi Oshiro in mixed doubles, showing an impressive performance.

Together, Noe Khlif and Eric Oncins delivered a decisive 2-0 victory against Frisco Pandas‘ dynamic duo of Michael Loyd and Stefan Auvergne—a satisfying turnaround after a previous loss in their final regular-season match.

“We played [Michael Loyd and Stefan Auvergne] last week, and we knew what we had to change. We had some very good practice focusing on what we wanted to implement in that matchup, and we came out with good energy from the first match that helped the whole team.” – (Noe Khlif)

A Strong Finish from the Women

While Noe Khlif’s efforts were crucial, it was the Miami Pickleball Club’s women who shone brightest in the DreamBreaker. Milan Rane and Bobbi Oshiro teamed up in singles to dominate their match against the Frisco Pandas’ Ewa Radzikowska and Tammy Emmrich, outscoring them 12-4. This strong performance helped the Miami Pickleball Club clinch a decisive 21-11 victory.

Milan Rane, who scored the final point, expressed the weight of the moment.

“I had to bring out my inner Eric, since he’s known for finishing our DreamBreakers. I struggled in my two matches before, so I knew I had to come out swinging for my team.” – (Milan Rane)

Looking Ahead

With a successful business trip to Texas behind them, the Miami Pickleball Club now has a moment to catch their breath before the MLP Orlando Playoffs, scheduled for November 22-24 at the USTA National Campus.

As they prepare for this next challenge, the Miami Pickleball Club remains focused on their goal of elevating their game to the Premier level in 2025.
