Mixed Doubles Round of 64 Recap
Meghan Dizon and AJ Koller, along with Layne Sleeth and Travis Rettenmaier, both advanced to the Round of 32 in mixed doubles with hard-fought victories.
Dizon and Koller came from behind to defeat Dominique Schaefer and Zane Ford. After losing the first game 9-11, they won the next two games 11-9 and 11-5. They will now face the No. 20 seeds, Genie Bouchard and Jack Sock, in the next round.
Meanwhile, Sleeth and Rettenmaier also had a tough match. They lost the first game 3-11 but bounced back to win the next two games 11-4 and 11-8. They will face the No. 5 seeds, Rachel Rohrabacher and James Ignatowich, next.
