Championship Sunday on FOX: The PPA Tour is back on FOX this week for the Black Desert Resort Red Rock Open, featuring exclusive Championship Sunday coverage from 4:30-6:30 p.m. ET. The event, held at Little Valley Sports Complex, will air after Major League Soccer’s St. Louis City FC vs. Austin FC match.
Major TV Exposure for Pickleball
This marks the fifth time since 2024 that the PPA Tour has had an exclusive slot on a major television network, with three appearances on FOX and one on CBS. The broadcasts have attracted over 1.4 million viewers combined, with the highest audience reaching 501,000 at the 2024 Carvana Mesa Cup on FOX.
Fans will also have additional opportunities to watch the action across FOX’s networks. Fox Sports 2 will air men’s and women’s doubles quarterfinals live on Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. ET, while Fox Sports 1 will replay Saturday’s best semifinal matches from 9:30-11:30 p.m. ET.

New Format for PPA Opens
The Black Desert Resort Red Rock Open will also debut a new format for PPA Opens. Starting with this tournament and continuing at next week’s Veolia North Carolina Open, all semifinal matches will take place on Saturday. This adjustment aligns with the scheduling used for PPA Cups and Slams, aiming to streamline event flow and maximize viewership.
With a historic venue and a fresh tournament structure, excitement is high for this week’s competition.
Exciting Matches Ahead
Main draw matches will kick off with men’s and women’s singles, available on Pickleballtv and the Pickleballtv app. Fans can expect top-tier competition as the world’s best pickleball players battle for the title.
