Fahey Overcomes Slow Start
Mary Brascia came out strong and controlled the first game, but Kate Fahey adjusted her strategy to take charge in the next two. After leveling the match in the second game, Fahey dominated the decider with a shutout.
“Mary’s always really tough. I think she was dictating for the most part in that first game. She’s got great volleys, and so I think in the second game I had to adjust a little bit. I was the one who came in more,”
Kate Fahey said of her performance.
