UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series Scheduled For Oct In Atlanta

UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series: Atlanta will host the next leg of the UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series (PAS) from October 4th to 6th, 2024. This tournament, held at ITA Atlanta on Presidential Drive, promises three days of competitive pickleball action across a range of singles and doubles divisions. Participants can expect a robust format featuring Round Robin play with games to 11 points, ensuring a minimum of 6 matches per player. The top teams will advance to medal matches, adding excitement with best-of-three games for higher placements. With age-based divisions from 19+ to 60+, the PAS aims to deliver a world-class experience for amateur players nationwide.

Format and Divisions

The tournament kicks off on Friday, October 4th with Men’s and Women’s Singles, followed by Mixed Doubles on Saturday, and concludes with Men’s and Women’s Doubles on Sunday. Each division operates in four-hour segments throughout the day to accommodate players of all schedules and ages. Participants register based on their event type and age category, ensuring fair competition and lively matchups.

Registration and Awards

Registration fees are set at $60 per player, with an additional $20 per division. Medals will be awarded to the top three teams or players in each level-based group, and all first-place finishers will qualify for the UTR Sports Pickleball Amateur Series Championships in December. A cancellation deadline of September 13, 2024, is in place, offering participants the option to purchase Registration & Weather Insurance for added flexibility.
